Voy en busqueda de la habilidad de transformar el sonido en luz, como grandes maestros del psy y del goa lo han logrado ya. No hay apuro en llegar, pero alli voy.
Hay un mensaje claro detras de cada track, palabras que no pretenden mas que recordarnos que somos seres humanos, extra-terrestres, viajando en el espacio en una nave que llamamos Madre Tierra.

Entrevista con Pshenika tambien conocido como Theobroma
¿Que es para vos la música?
Son ondas en el espacio que activan partes de tu cuerpo, ofreciéndote diferentes estados sensoriales.
¿Cuando y como nació Pshenika?
Calculo que nació desde haber escuchado el primer sonido en mi vida, pero a producir temas nació mucho después de haberme sentido identificado con ciertos estilos como el trip hop y psy trance.
¿Y Theobroma?
Quise identificarme con algo más espiritual, más tranquilo, donde pudiese combinar más las armonías con las melodías y darle un toque más análogo grabando instrumentos y baterías.
¿Que significa Pshenika?
Es solo un nombre, quería algo original que aun no existiese. Fue una parte más de la creación del todo.
¿Y Theobroma de donde viene?
Significa "Alimento de los Dioses", siempre sentí una gran afinidad con las plantas. Su color y vibración. Entonces ese nombre me pareció muy acorde al proyecto, ya que me gusta poner samples de la naturaleza.
¿Qué esperas de tu música?
Que se escuche todo lo más posible y que día a día vaya progresando a nivel musical y de producción para poder brindar nuevas experiencias al oyente.
¿Algo que quieras decirle a tu público?
Sí, que espero poder llevarles luz a través de la música y ojala lo disfruten.

Interview with Pshenika aka Theobroma
What is music to you?
There are waves on the space that activate parts of your body, offering you different kind of senses.
How and when was Pshenika born?
I guess it was born from listening the first sound in my life, but the producing started some time after I felt identified with trip-hop and Psytrance.
And what about Theobroma?
I wanted a litle bit of calm, to connect with something more spiritual.
I was trying to find a place where I could combine more harmonies and melodies and I wanted to try recording some analog instruments and drums.
What does Pshenika mean?
It's just a name. I wanted an original name, a name that doesn't exist. So I invented it. It's just another part of the creation.
And What does Theobroma mean?
It means "Nutriment for the Gods".
I always felt a great afinity with plants: Their colour and vibration. Then, it came to me that "Theobroma" really suits the name of my project. And I also like to add nature samples to my tracks.
What are your expectations with your music?
I expect my music to be heard as much as possible and progresses day by day so I can provide new experiences to the listener.
Is ther something you want to say to your public?
Yes. I hope I can bring you light trough my music and you can enjoy it.

Metanoia (from the Greek , metanoia,
changing one's mind)
What is the Buddhist idea of Metta? The Pali word "Metta" means "loving kindness", not the ordinary, sensual, emotional, sentimental kind of love. Metta has been translated by modern translators into English as generous, mindful loving, loving kindness, sending out thoughts of love towards others" but
according to the words of Buddha, Metta has a far wider significance, and a much more extensive implication than this. It means a great deal more than loving kindness harmlessness, sympathy.
in Carl Jung's psychology, metanoia indicates a spontaneous attempt of the psyche to heal itself of unbearable conflict by melting down and then being reborn in a more adaptive form.
Yo Soy Records proudly presents: 2013, a psychedelic play in seven acts, by Mettanoia.
A sonic play divided in 3 major parts: Denial, Inflexion, and Acceptance.
DENIAL> The first 3 acts reflects the birth of mettanoia as a psytrance project, desperately trying to be different, breaking all formulas and patterns, keeping away from all known genres, and fighting for it own uniqueness, even when this meant an obstacle to get inside the night trance net of labels and producers. The main subject here is the end of the world, the obscure part of being an earthling, the dark side of our brain., and finally the search for love as a way to change the world.
INFLEXION> this one act marks the inflection point where mettanoia discover that there is a way to be part of the whole and it is necessary to dissolve one's ego in order to do that, just like a drop of rain will finally end in the ocean.
ACCEPTANCE> the 3 final acts of the play, in production right now, a new way is found, acceptance is the final part of this play, where Mettanoia seeks to finalize his work in night trance, becoming one with the genre, melting its own musical identity which took four years to grow in the infinite ocean of night trance, with the clear intention to show that night does not mean dark.

i guess i should speak about my history in music, something like:
Colo made his first steps into music when he was 8years old and got a casio keyboard for his birthday..... but i wont.
I am what i am in the present because of many circunstances and choices i made, plus all the events of the cosmic plan.
As i write this i circled the sun 26 times and about to count one more.
i live in a beautifull place, called EL BOLSON, imagine where Frodo Baggins lives, well you got it.
it is a place surrounded by mountains, lakes, rivers, forest and waterfalls.
here im learning a lot about growing my veggies organically and how to build houses out of clay and earth.
im want to raise a family in a better world that the one i was raised in.
i think is very important to be talking about this here.
i dont want make a big deal about my music career.
i just want to help delivering hope, peace and love to this world.
i am a channel and a mirror, I recognize myself as a part of the whole and equal to everyone else, and i know i must do my part here and now if i want to see a change.
im just being an active part of the collective consciousness.
and ligth is present in every track i made, when you listen with your heart you will tell.
so please i am inviting you to step into the ligth, it has come the time to celebrate this great moment we are living in.
even at the darkest night time we shall be full of light, we are all children of the universe and sunlight is in the very deep inside of us.
so im taking my music to a whole new level now, i ve noticed i must tranceform my night trance into a beautifull way of giving thanks to life.
We are creators of this reality, lets start imagining a new world, lets say goodbye to the old violent scary world.

mis amigos me llaman Colo, mi familia Fede, y yo llame Mettanoia a mi proyecto de night trance.

Creo que deberia hablar de mi historia en la musica, algo asi como: Colo dio sus primeros pasos en la musica cuando tenia 8 años y sus padres le regalaron un teclado casio para su cumple... pero no.
Soy lo que soy en el presente por muchas circusntancias que vivi y por elecciones que hice, mas todos los eventos del plan cosmico.
Mientras escribo esto tengo 26 vueltas al sol y estoy por contar una mas.
Vivo en un lugar hermso, El Bolson, imaginen un lugar como en el que vive Frodo Bolson... bueno, bastante parecido.
Es un lugar rodeado de montañas, lagos, rios, bosques y cascadas.
Aqui estoy aprendiendo mucho sobre como cultivar mis vegetales organicamente y como construir casas de arcilla y tierra.
Es que quiero formar una familia en un mundo mejor que el que me crio a mi. Me parece mas importante hablar de esto aqui que de mi carrera como musico.
Solo quiero ayudar a enviar esperanza, paz y amor a este mundo.
Soy un canal y un espejo, y me reconozco a mi mismo como parte del todo y como igual a cualquier otro, y se que tengo que hacer mi parte aqui y ahora si quiero ver un cambio.
Estoy siendo una parte activa de la conciencia colectiva, desde donde puedo, desde donde me sale. Con la music.
Y la luz esta presente en cada track que hice, cuando escuchas con tu corazon lo podes notar.
asique, te estoy invitando a dar un paso dentro de la luz, llego el momento de celebrar esta gran epoca que nos toco vivir.
Incluso en la noche mas oscura debemos estar llenos de luz, somos todos hijos del universo y la luz del sol esta en lo mas profundo de nosotros.
Estoy llevando mi musica a un nuevo nivel ahora, me doy cuenta que debo transformar mi night trance en una hermosa manera de dar gracias a la vida.
Somos creadores de esta realidad, empezemos a imaginar un mundo nuevo, digamosle chau al viejo y violento mundo que da miedo.

Mettanoia is an audiovisual live set, using hundreds of loops i compiled and re edited i follow every kick and sound with images, i mix my music with a computer and mix the images with another, making every live set unique, there are some tracks for which i edited special videos, here are some examples for you to enjoy!

Sunday Light is the solo psychedelic trance project from Alexander Alexandrov, also known as Dj Sasha, born in Russia in 1984 and migrated to Italy at tender age. His interest in music kept stronger at the age of fifhteen, when he buys his first guitar and starts singing. Those years he was interested mostly in rock and roll, from progressive/psychedelic as Pink Floyd, King Krimson to simpler indie/grunge as Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Sonic Youth and many more. Then during 2002, after attending his first psychedelic trance party in Bologna, he falls in love with this upraising genre starting djing indipendently on the Italian scene during summer 2005, playing along parties from Psyconauti, PsyFly tribe, Ca.Cu.Bo. crew, Solarsiv Records, Looney Moon, with international acts like : Ocelot, Wicked Hayo, Bliss, Painkiller, Mekkanikka, Alchemix, U-Recken, Hyper Frequencies and more. Then he moves to Milan, completing a degree in audio engineering and finally starting the research of his own psychedelic trance style.
